Advanced Studio Syllabus: Click
Students
will be required to complete individually
defined ceramic projects by their due date on a monthly basis, and
participate in class critiques. There well be a large emphasis on idea development
and creating a personal voice. These projects will be shown in a final exhibit
at the end of the semester. Students in Advanced Studio are required to enter
one juried show during the semester.
Students
will also be assessed on participation in studio operations such as loading
kilns, firing kilns, keeping the studio clean, mixing clay and glazes, and
other necessary tasks.
The Library Project: Use the library as a source of inspiration. Think as the library as a physical space and as a virtual space.
